New Caregiver to Prostate Cancer & Orgovyx

Hi reddit world! Hoping to find some guidance and positivity regarding my father's recent prostate cancer diagnosis. He's 76 and just received his MRI results to confirm prostate cancer, which has also potentially spread to his hip. This week he has a PET scan to confirm it hasn't spread anywhere else. Then he will get a bone biopsy on his hip at the end of this month. His Urologist provided him with Orgovyx and instructed him to take his first dose immediately following his PET scan on Tuesday.

The mental and emotional toll this has all taken has been extremely difficult and overwhelming for both him and our family. What can I do to help at this point? I got him a journal to just get his thoughts down on paper everyday to hopefully ease his racing mind. When he starts taking ORGOVYX hes also worried about the side effects, has anyone found a way to relieve any potential side effects he may experience? I don't want him to stop taking his medicine if he experiences any nausea, etc.
