Returning Player Question - How insane is it to get 100 pass ranks in a week?

I was all ready to get the bottle cap pass when it came out, but I was shocked to see we had a week for 100 ranks.

For those of you who played last year, is this difficult? Was it manageable with a 9-5 and other normal obligations for you? I realize they changed XP limits, but it still seems very high.

$20 for something timed and something with such a short amount of time seems rather stingy, but idk.
