If your visiting family from out of town, do you prefer staying in your own place (e.g. hotel or Air BnB) or with family?

Currently in town visiting. Me and my sister don’t get along that well despite her used to staying with me when she used to visit. Now that I sold my house, I literally don’t have e anywhere to go when I visit.

I only visit my hometown to see my mother who’s being cared for by my other sister. In addition to my 96 year old grandmother. Weren’t for those two I wouldn’t go to my hometown.
