Taking a faraway trip guidelines

Hi all!

Just got back from Europe (living in US) and wanted to share some tips on how to not have your pikmin walking 100+ days to get their decor.

Disclaimer: I've been playing from the beginning so I have a decent hoard and have paid coins only to increase how much I can carry.

Before your trip:

1. Hoard/stockpile your special nectar. This will allow you to get the decor right away for your pikmin while still in your trip country. I don't use the special nectar ever so I had my full count going into this trip

During your trip:

2. Use your home pikmin to do expeditions. This will ensure you trip pikmin aren't out and about when you need to get their decor. Just make sure you don't send them on their decor journey while you're away.

3. Be on top of planting/growing new seedlings. My goal was to grow as many new seedling as possible so I used strategies like only having one slot be filled with a 3k or 5k and the other slot be for 100 or 1k. Or course planting flowers helps make that process faster. I didn't waste time on 10ks because I could grow them at home and they'd get their decor automatically.

4. I could handle end-of-day special nectar feeding since I was so busy during the day. This allowed me to put all the pikmin I grew into my squad, feed them 3 special nectar, and send them out to get their decor while I was sleeping and be ready to go (usually) in the morning for the next batch.

Note:

Now this isn't 100% success as I got more pikmin I could grow in the time I was there but this let me get a majority of them. Of course if you like sending them on their journey more power to you....I'm not that patient lol.
