Basic makeup for an event/function

Hi so for the background I'm soo bad at makeup and like sometimes I can't even put my blush effectively. So pls suggest tutorials or hacks to do makeup for a function. Not too flashy, not too simple for everyday look. something warm but also moderate.

I use, blush, kajal, mascara, lipstick that's all😭 and pls suggest reasonable things

Ps: in this function even my dad will be with us so it's very awkward to put makeup on for an event. And he even taunts me for whom you are getting ready this much? Bruh for the pictures!
