NovaRed’s Trojan-Condor option adds obligations that actually matter
A deal with milestones is a deal with teeth. NovaRed now has a spending schedule, historical data, and a larger land package to advance. Still high-risk - but the structure is worth watching.
One thing that stands out in NovaRed’s Trojan-Condor deal is how much structure is built into it beyond the land addition.
The option adds 4,573.82 hectares to the Wilmac project, taking the total to 16,077.76 hectares. Alongside that expansion, the agreement lays out a staged exploration commitment that runs into 2026 and beyond.
To secure full ownership, NovaRed is on the hook for $8.5 million in exploration spending. The deal also includes $100,000 in cash, 3,000,000 units, and an additional $150,000 payment due by March 31, 2027.
Those numbers matter because they turn the acquisition into a spending schedule rather than a simple land update.
The package also includes historical exploration data tied to the Trojan-Condor area. That information extends Wilmac along a broader magnetic corridor and feeds into how the company builds its exploration targets going forward.
None of this guarantees results in the ground. Exploration risk stays the same regardless of how structured the deal looks on paper.
Still, a defined work program changes how the asset is viewed. It shows the company is committing capital to test the ground instead of holding acreage without a clear plan for it.
Exploration is still the ultimate test - but a defined work program separates serious projects from passive land holds. Trojan-Condor adds scale and a clear path forward for Wilmac.
