Mods not working

Got mods Love Island: The Game v1.7.5 MOD APK [Unlimited Money/Gems/Unlimited Tickets] for Android

I use my laptop to play the game because i have an iphone and it's so much work to get mods on an iphone. This mod is the latest i found but it's not working just gives me the regular 2 tickets and 60 gems. is it because its not for PC? or is it the case where i have to do something like spend a ticket and gems and restart it to work? please help, unless anyone has new links to mods that could potentially work for pc. I did get a mod from modyolo and it worked but its the 1.7.0 and it will not work further than 3 episodes cuz i need an updated version of the game.
