Used CX-5 or BMW X3?
I am looking to buy a used 2021-2023 SUV with under 70k miles and priced below $27k, as a second car for my spouse with daily commute (<15 miles round trip) . While my original plan was to buy a Mazda CX-5 with a higher trim (Signature or Grand Touring) with more features, I came across some used BMW X3 which are in the same price range. I am looking for a good SUV with AWD and with great safety features (blind spot monitor, cross-traffic alert, automatic braking, parking sensors, lane departure warning, best for side impact and high IIHS rating) for winter driving.
CX-5 higher trims have the luxury feel in the interior, but BMW X5 looks Ann’s drives great too. However, I am not sure how reliable a 2021 BMW X3 would be with 70k miles, and don’t want to spend too much on regular maintenance or repairs. I already have a CX-90 which I quite like but wanted to try a different vehicle. The CR-V and RAV4, are priced a bit higher than my budget and don’t have the great interior like the CX5 and BMW. Please suggest. TIA
