Does anyone else?

Just out of curiosity, I have IBS mix. Currently on 20 mg of amitriptyline, which is actually been helping quite a bit. And in treatment for OCD which we already know has played a huge role in my IBS. Tons of tummy issues too! Like reoccurring gastritis, MCAS and dysautonomia.

Anyway! Whenever I do get an IBS flare. Which to be honest with you is usually because of stress and lack of sleep. For example, I only got three hours of sleep last night and then I went for a run this morning. Had my coffee and pretty much had an explosive bowel movement. Anyway, but I knew I was getting a flare. Because I can always tell, I look incredibly pale the day before or the morning of and then I get almost flu like symptoms. I get a low-grade fever, muscle aches, nausea, and feeling systemically unwell. Which apparently is not very common? Does anybody else get flu like symptoms when they go through a flare or is that because of the MCAS?
