Is Dr Hills digestive care i/d wet- a good alternative to RC gastrointestinal wet food?
so I’m in the dominican republic, we have no RC gastrointestinal wet food for cats in the country- only for dogs, and my vet prescribed that to my cat, (along with Dr hills Biome dry food for cats- she likes that one) she is refusing it after 2 weeks on it and the vet said I could try RC recovery- but it is also for dogs (again that’s all we have) if not she can stay on the dry one only t-t does anyone considers Digestive care i/d a decent alternative? I see it on the app too- I’ve been told recently that dog food is a no no, so I want to get something specifically made for cats :(
Why I want her to be on wet food too:
she is on a supplement which I could give by mouth w syringe but if I could avoid doing that and hide it in her food it would be 10x better as to not stress her out further, she also needs a laxative which is a very sticky paste, vet said I could also give by mouth but idk where to start with that, it would be so messy and difficult to get inside a syringe, I’m also scared to put my finger in her mouth since she recently bit me and I had to go to the ER for that.
Im thinking on putting that on her paw so she can lick it off tho, but again, Id prefer she ate with the wet food.
