Is the level of bad calls/stupid decisions on par with prior World Cups or is this something new?
As a US viewer that is mostly enjoying this World Cup, is it normal for so many controversial calls? It seems with video review it would be a thing of the past, but it doesn't seem like it has solved much other than offside calls. It's popular to call everyone/everything corrupt these days, but how else do you explain some of this BS? Paraguay not getting a single yellow card in regulation time vs France, FIFA suspending an admittedly BS red card after a call from a president, hair touch deciding outcomes, etc, etc...
