A little notice
I got banned on reddit. Apparently posting about a certain V company's vehicle failure was a bannable offense, and I cannot seem to get my appeal to actually work. What a shame.
My account was previously u/notsoseagatey, and currently while I can browse and "upvote" posts on there, I cannot do anything else with it. Every time I try to load something it just throws a "We've had a server error..." and logging out while on my user page (which loads "fine" for me) results in it showing "This user has been banned"
I didn't even receive a ban message, and notifications still go through, so this means that my account has been automatically suspended after being spam reported enough.
I've attempted to appeal my ban to no avail. At the point of writing this it has been 6 weeks since I sent my appeal, and I have been ghosted. I've lost my account, all my karma that I built (which is admittedly a lot harder than I thought) and all my old posts.
This should serve as a little lesson to any of you - do not criticize a certain V company. That company cares about it's PR more than anything - and if you do such a thing as to just post an image of one of their vehicles breaking down... well, you'll be like me, lose all your stuff and be ghosted by reddit support.
