ICM intermittent when hot
Debugging an intermittent loss of spark when hot led me to this is the ignition control module. Its in the distributor housing and provides the excitement for the coil - or doesn't after it heats up, and you are very far from home.
The hybrid board is beautifully constructed, but the thermal compound / heat sink goo had long expired, so this thing was running so hot. The component highlighted had a failed solder land. That 50nf cap is pretty important as it turns out.
You might replace the thermal goo on yours or locate a spare before you need it.
