If research didn't work out, what would your Plan B be?

A lot of us preparing for IAT dream of pursuing research, but it's also a career path that comes with its own uncertainties.

If, for any reason, research didn't work out the way you hoped, what would your Plan B be?

Would you move into industry, pursue higher studies in another field, prepare for competitive exams, become a teacher, start a business, or explore something completely different?
