Could this be a sign of shifting?
I’ve been trying to shift every night recently. I’ve only been seriously practicing for about a week now, and I’ve only experienced what I think was a mini shift once.
Last night, though, something really interesting happened.
Normally, when I dream, they’re completely random and make no sense—like fish flying through the sky, or suddenly being transported from my house to a huge grass field with no explanation. My dreams are usually full of impossible situations and weird logic.
But last night, while attempting to shift, I had one of the most vivid and realistic dreams I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, it wasn’t my DR, and my S/O wasn’t there either.
The dream took place in a fairly large vegetable garden. I was walking with my best friend (A) and a few other friends. What amazed me was how incredibly real everything felt. I could feel A putting their arm around my shoulder, hear their voice clearly, sense the atmosphere, and even feel the temperature of the air. It was so vivid that, even 10+ hours later, I can still remember it almost perfectly.
Usually when I dream, it feels like my mind isn’t fully there—I’m just passively following whatever the dream throws at me. But this time, it felt completely different. It genuinely felt like I was thinking, feeling, and making my own decisions just like I do in real life.
Could this be a sign of shifting? And even if you don’t think it is, I’d really appreciate hearing any thoughts or similar experiences!
