From Australia. Want to buy a 16T external hard drive and start downloading as much as I can.

Need guidance on starting collecting movies, series, I'm done with streaming. What the best places for torrent nowadays? Last time I torrent something was at piratebay. Do I need to be worried about downloading in Australia?
