I got tired of copy-pasting founder profiles into notes, so I built a simple extension

Whenever I’m scrolling through X or LinkedIn, I run into amazing founders, builders, and VCs. My absolute biggest frustration was the manual copy-paste loop. I'd find someone cool, copy their URL, switch tabs to my digital notebook, paste it, write a sloppy note, and switch back. It completely killed my reading flow.

So I decided to build a custom Chrome Extension for myself called FounderDeck.

How it works:

1. I’m browsing an X or LinkedIn profile.
2. I click the extension icon once.
3. In the background, a lightweight script instantly grabs their profile photo, name, bio, and company info, saving it straight into local storage.

It's completely open-source and local-first. Would love your Feedback and new ideas.
