Need help with "Section 2 — Degree Marks Entry" for an 8-semester CGPA system

Hey folks, I am currently filling out my KEA PGCET 2026 application and I'm stuck on Section 2 Degree Marks Entry. The portal asks for "Total Marks" and "Obtained Marks" for 4 separate years.

My B.Tech is 8 semesters and uses a CGPA system. My university’s official conversion rule is simply: Percentage = CGPA × 10.

Since I don't have traditional marks, how exactly should I translate my 8 semesters into these 4 yearly rows?

• Option 1: Use the cumulative CGPA at the end of every even semester (Sem 2 = Year 1, Sem 8 = Year 4) and set it out of a base of 1000. (e.g., If Sem 8 CGPA is 7.48, enter Total: 1000, Obtained: 748). ?
• Option 2: Manually add up the total registered credits and earned credit points for each year (Sem 1+2, Sem 3+4, etc.). ?

Which method is accepted during KEA document verification? I want to make sure the portal calculates my final aggregate correctly. 😕😕😕
