Should i text him?

So i was a in a situationship type thing (ik it’s embarrassing) with a guy 10 months ago. But he gave me all the signs that i could be his partner. But then after 3 months he started to pull away because of his exams. It’s been almost 5 months and i still haven’t heard from him except a like on my WhatsApp story last week, but he is showing me all the signs that he is thinking of me but he still hasn’t reached out.

I miss him every single day and controlling the urge to text him because of my ego and pride. Should i be the one to break the ice or should i just let the silence between us consume me🫠
