Point me in the right direction?

Hope this kind of post is allowed, please just delete if not.

I had some time ago exchanged emails with an individual named Daniel Siebert; we spoke extensively about Salvia Divinorum and his work on the plant and he had even at one point sent me some plant material to become more acquainted with what he was speaking about and I well and very truly fell in love with this plant altogether. Life got busy and this was many years ago now, but that love has not faded, and today I came back to the community in hopes to add one of these special plants to my garden only to find out my old friend has unfortunately passed away in the interim.
I would like to cultivate this plant even more now and in memoriam to Danny but I dont even know where to begin, would anyone be able to give me some tips here?
