Norco Sight VLT's

I'm looking at getting my first emtb. I've decided on the Norco Sight VLT but which model is where I'm getting hung up. I watched the Loam Wolf review and one of the panel said they would purchase the lowest spec and spend the difference on upgrades (this got me thinking). Any input on the components and value on these bikes?

Mostly riding intermediate jump and tech trails. I save the double black stuff for the bike park and my freeride bike.

I'm typically pretty hard on wheels so they might need to be upgraded regardless of which bike I get. I'm not familiar with DVO suspension. I have TRP DHR Evo brakes on one of my bike and love them. I'm not familiar with Shimano drivetrains at all.
I also put in the previous gen high pivot bike as that level is on sale for $7900 cad, so between the A1 and A2. It has a larger battery, CX motor and carbon frame which all can't be changed later... I currently have a Norco high pivot bike which I love.
