I know very little about George’s last family. I do know that he was adopted from Woodbury as a kitten, given the name George, and was with the same family for the past 7.5 years. He was surrendered to the Woodbury Humane Society in late March with his orange younger brother Washburn (unfortunately I was not able to take Washburn due to a contact mixup at the shelter 😿) because “the family was moving and unable to take him with them.”

If you know this beautiful baby boy’s previous family, please let them know he is doing so well and is very much loved by me and my family. I adopted him a few days after he was surrendered and he is the sweetest, most gentile cat I know. I’m sure it was hard to give him and his brother up, but I’m selfishly glad he was surrendered because now I get to be his family. George is loving playing crinkle ball fetch, sleeping in the sun, and watching the neighbors in their yard. He’s currently curled up with me on the bed batting my phone so I’ll put it down and pet him. Which I will obviously be going because George rules this house and obviously deserves all the morning cuddles after a long night of cuddles.

If You Surrendered Your Cat George to the Humane Society in Woodbury: Thank You ❤️
