Seven ODSTs (Halo) versus seven Runners (Marathon)

The amount of shared lore and references between Bungie universes finally hits critical mass and a rupture in two realities appears, placing a group of UNSC Orbital Drop Shock Troopers and a group of Runners in an unknown space. In order to successfully return to their respective universes, they must fight each other. Winner goes home, loser is banished to the void.

The Loadouts

All competitors on both sides will get a two-weapon loadout - an assault rifle with 10 magazines' worth of ammunition, and a more specialised secondary weapon. For the ODSTs, this will be a standard-issue MA5C ICWS, and for the Runners, a Model 77 AR. Both are small-caliber designs, with a lot of all-around versatility. Because Runners have a larger variety of weapons to get their hands on prior to infiltration (and each shell has a certain degree of specialisation in their own right), the secondary assigned to each Runner will be matched as closely as possible for the ODST.

This means the loadouts are:

For other equipment, both sides have access to any standard-issue means of healing (ODSTs get MediGel containers, Runners get patch kits and shield recharges).

Rounds

The two teams will face off across three environments, one neutral and one that each side is more familiar with.

• Round 1: Customs from Tarkov. Given neither side has been here, this forms a neutral environment without any home-field advantages.
• Round 2: Outpost from Nu-Marathon
• Round 3: New Mombasa from H3: ODST

A win is determined by all combatants on one team being unable to continue fighting, be it through death, dismemberment or otherwise. Teams will be respawned and restocked between rounds.
