(Trying again) Finished first project involving sewing
(Sorry about that for anyone who saw my first attempt. For some reason all my text didn't come through the first time I posted this and I also couldn't edit. What the heck, Reddit?)
You never know where a new hobby will take you. I started crocheting in February after lessons at a LYS. I thought I was going to be an amigurumi girl, but ended up loving making accessories instead. I've now made my share of lumpy scarves, hats and cozies, but this was my first time trying something a bit more complicated, i.e. sewing squares together. My bestie is a talented crafter who has made me many things through the years, so I wanted to return the favor and this is the attempt! I'm calling it the Verdigris Bag bcs of the colors.
I really struggled with sewing ever since making that drawstring bag in 7th grade (anyone relate?), but I now think I *like* sewing and may try something like a granny square market bag next. Any pattern suggestions are appreciated!
This pattern is the Triangle Crossbody Bag by Vivian Khoo. It's 60% cotton/40% acrylic yarn and I upsized from a 4mm to 6mm hook to make it slightly bigger.
