acne??

I have been on birth control (pill form) for three years due to hormonal acne. It has worked great and with combined medication it has cleared up. The problem is i’m very forgetful and sexually active so nexplanon was brought up by my gynecologist . Does it make acne worse? does the bleeding really last that long? I don’t really remember my gynecologist brining this stuff up but from what i’ve seen on here i’m highly reconsidering 😬
