Looking for advice: Increase Lexapro to 15 mg or add Wellbutrin?

Hey everyone,
I’m hoping to get some advice from people who have been in a similar situation.

Out of nowhere, I experienced intense, all-day anxiety that lasted about 4 days. My doctor started me on **Lexapro 10 mg**, and after it kicked in, I felt amazing. For about 3 months, my anxiety was well-controlled, and I genuinely felt like myself again.

Then, one morning, the anxiety came back hard, especially morning anxiety with that heavy chest feeling. My psychiatrist increased me to **12.5 mg**, and after about 3 weeks, things started improving again. The anxiety is much more manageable now, but I still get morning anxiety a couple of days a week.

The other thing I’ve noticed is that while I don’t feel depressed, I sometimes feel a little “flat.” It’s more of an indifferent feeling—not sad, just not as happy, excited, or motivated as I was when Lexapro was working really well.

My psychiatrist suggested either increasing to **15 mg** or possibly adding **Wellbutrin**, and I’m trying to decide which direction makes the most sense.

For those who have been through something similar:

Did increasing Lexapro help eliminate the remaining anxiety without making you feel more emotionally flat?

If you added Wellbutrin to Lexapro, did it help bring back your motivation, excitement, or enjoyment of things?

If you were in my position, would you try increasing Lexapro first, or add Wellbutrin?

II’m just hoping to hear some realworld experiences that might help me know what to expect.

Thanks in advance!!
