Does this make him an abusive boyfriend?

My partner is very calm in real life and on calls. He always prefers talking on calls because he thinks that, especially during fights, everything seems more extreme over text. 😭

At one point, his house got sealed due to some issues. He was broke, his friends had left him, his father was on his deathbed, and he also had a medical exam coming up.

During that time, for about two and a half months, I kept telling him that he wasn't doing anything for me, complaining that he wasn't talking to me properly, and staying angry with him for days. Even then, he kept making efforts to talk to me and calmly explained things to me over and over again.

One day, while he was at the hospital with his father, whose condition was very serious, I called him a donkey and told him I didn't want to talk to him. He then told me that I had "fucked up" his mind. After that, he didn't want to talk to me anymore.

All he needed was understanding and peace, at least from me, but instead, I kept fighting with him.
