24M, is this normal? I'm straight but I have absolutely no desire for a relationship
I'm a straight guy in mid 20, and I've been wondering if this is more common than I think.
I've never dated anyone. I talk to girls normally, and in most cases they're actually the ones who start conversations. Im very introverted and i do feel lonely sometime. But I never feel the urge to take things further, flirt, ask someone out, or pursue a relationship.
The thing that makes me curious is that I haven't had a genuine crush in about 5 years. I don't really experience that feeling of wanting to be with someone romantically. I also don't feel like I'm missing out.
I don't seem to crave one. It's almost like that part of my brain is switched off.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is this actually pretty normal, or could there be a reason behind it?
I'm genuinely curious to hear other people's experiences.
