Need Advice: Best Affordable Online MBA (Budget ~$3,800 / 5M RWF)

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for honest advice on choosing the best online MBA program.

My situation:

• I’m based in Rwanda
• My budget is around 5 million Rwandan Francs (~$3,800 USD)
• I need a 100% online MBA
• My main goal is career advancement (not immigration)
• I currently work in administrative/data support roles and want to move into operations, management, or business analysis

I’ve been researching options like:

• African Leadership University
• A few low-cost U.S. online universities

My key questions:

• What is the best accredited online MBA I can realistically complete within this budget?
• Is the University of the People respected enough for career growth?
• Is it worth stretching for more expensive programs like ALU or similar options?
• Are there any hidden gem universities I should consider?

I would really appreciate insights from anyone who has done an affordable online MBA or works in hiring/recruitment.

Thanks in advance for your help!
