😂😂 (First Off I’ve used this meme before , but I just thought it fit really well)…

So I’ll just come out and say it, I think a lot of people have warmed up to the idea of the IFV resupply with unlimited supply

Here’s why…

1. from a realism perspective , it lacks only in the fact that obviously unlimited supplies do not exist, however it makes more sense to resupply infantry from their “Infantry fighting vehicle” platform, so when comparing that to previously , where u would go back to the main supply depot , it makes just about as much “realism” sense

Regardless, this is a game so I’m not super worried about being 100% realistic, if it was tanks would kill entire infantry squads with one shot

2. It SIGNIFICANTLY reduces the “useless” micro piece of logistics. logistics is a very important micro mechanic in any RTS, however that doesn’t mean clicking 100 times to load, unload , reload , move to the nearest supply point and do a round trip is necessary “useful” micro, I would rather use that micro effort in more strategic and tactically important things like booming runs, artillery, and assaulting with ground units.

It also increases the amount of engagment time, instead of sitting around constantly having to resupply units that were partially damaged by a barrage, or from an engagment they won but still recieved damage

3. IFVs become more valuable, for their own sake. Before IFVs were nice, but now I view them as a lot more of an asset since they can resupply , with infinite limits . Even with the PTE cap, I feel like it still required tons of micro and the resupply wasn’t that great, it didn’t add a whole lot of value as units would still be partially healed and u needed to resupply the IFVs just as much as the infantry

With all that being said, I still think having SOME sort of resupply cap wouldn’t be a bad idea to look into… but I would hope it would be much larger than the cap from the PTE

ANYWAYS, let me know what u think, do u like the infinite supply glitch?

Is it too “unrealistic” for you to like? Do u think it’s to “abusable” or are u just happy u don’t have to spend 15 mins resupplying every infantry unit and can focus on the fight?
