How did you gather all of a resource to a central location?

I’m wanting to do a large aluminum factory and smelt all the aluminum on the map. Was thinking about doing it by the islands on the west for the oil.

But the bauxite is scattered through the center of the map on rocky terrain. Which kinda kills trucks.

I was thinking maybe run a straight bus towards a road and through all the nodes around it and have a train station there but I’d have to do this 2-3 times to get all the aluminum this way.

Or I belt it….. a very long way which kills the vibe >.<

Maybe trucks a short distance to a train station?
