Changes to Physiology Major - PHYS30011 vs PHYS30012 review

Since physiology exams are no longer open-book and PHYS30009 has been suddenly cancelled, I'm trying to decide between PHYS30011 and PHYS30012. Given the shift to closed-book exams, I'm also wondering which subject would be better to take under this new testing format.

For anyone who has taken either subject or both, which one would you recommend overall?

Currently, my main points of comparison are:

1. Do you get to choose your group or are groups allocated?

2. Workload/stress throughout the semester vs final exam season? Which do the subjects sway towards and which would be more manageable with the closed-book exam format?

3. Organisation/coordination? How well-run is the subject in terms of assessment relevance/style, feedback, staff support and access to resources or staff assistance?

4. Which subject is more realistic to achieve a H1 in, provided a decent amount of consistent effort is put in?

Any honest experiences or comparisons between the two would be really helpful!!
