Haaland is ALREADY one of the greatest players of all times!
62 international goals in just 54 matches for a national team that isn't considered one of Europe's traditional powerhouses like France, Spain, Germany, or England. He averages more than a goal per game for his country, and he's close to that rate with Dortmund and Manchester City.. he even surpassed it during his time at Salzburg.
112 Premier League goals in just four seasons. 57 Champions League goals in only 58 appearances. Those 58 matches were enough for him to surpass the likes of Thierry Henry, Ibrahimovic, Luis Suarez, Nistelrooy, Drogba, Shevchenko, Inzaghi, etc.
In his very first FIFA World Cup, he has already led his country to the quarter-finals, scored in two consecutive knockout matches, and racked up 7 goals in just 4 games. This isn't just a remarkable tournament, this is history in the making. Just like he helped Man City to win their 1st ever UEFA Champions League title in his first season over there.
We don't give this man the credit he deserves simply because he isn't from the older generation or born in the '70s or '80s. But the truth is, even if Haaland were to retire tomorrow, he would already go down as one of the greatest players in football history.
