I got tired of doomscrolling and constant negativity, so I build BRIGHT NEWS, positive news Web and Android App which yesterday passed 250 users!

Lately I felt like most news apps and news sites were pushing the same cycle over and over again: wars, politics, crisis, outrage, and constant negativity.

That’s why I built BrightNews, an Android app and Web app that offers a different approach: positive, uplifting, and constructive news from around the world.

BrightNews is a news aggregator focused on stories about science, health, people, nature, innovation, and meaningful progress. Right now it covers the US, UK, Germany, France, Japan, Australia, Brazil, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The point is not to ignore reality, but to bring more \*\*positivity\*\* into daily life and make room for stories about progress, kindness, health, discovery, and good things happening in the world.

BrightNews Web app is live on:

Android app is live on Google Play:

If this sounds interesting and like something you’d use, check it out, share it, and feel free to tell me what you think.
