The Mocking Jay Pin Theory

I know we’re all curious as to what they’re going to do with Maysilee’s Mockingjay pin and how it will get explained, especially since it seems like she’s wearing it at the reaping in the new BTS shots that came out.

My theory is that Maysilee will use it as part of her necklace collection and Haymitch will then take it with him while in the arena. Then, to keep with the movie canon, Haymitch might accidentally (or purposely) trade the pin at the Hob for booze while in a drunken state. Not sure if anyone posted this theory before (if you did, so sorry). I just finished reading SotR last week and wanted to at least share my theory before the movie came out and see what other theories people had
