Anyone regretted buying an auto washing machine later?
I’ve been trying to replace an old washing setup at home and it’s been more confusing than expected.
Space is tight, water pressure is not always consistent, and I only run laundry maybe a couple of times a week. So I started looking at simpler options instead of jumping straight into a fully automatic machine.
The semi auto washing machine keeps coming up as a cheaper and easier-to-repair option, but I keep going back and forth on whether the extra manual steps will start feeling annoying after a few months.
I checked a few local stores and also browsed listings online just to compare rough pricing. And the difference in cost is actually quite wide depending on brand and capacity. Some are almost half the price of automatics but then you start wondering what corners are being cut.
What’s throwing me off is that people seem split on long-term convenience. Some say it’s reliable and survives voltage or water issues better, others say it becomes a chore pretty quickly.
I’m honestly not sure if I’m overthinking a simple appliance choice or if there really is a clear 'better' option depending on usage style.
