I think I like my friend romantically

Questions / Advice Wanted

We’re (27&28) both queer, we have made out in the past when we weren’t super close (7ish years ago), but we’ve both been in relationships and remained friends. Now we’re both single and are always together, confide in each other, text basically every day, and call/facetime a lot too. People already associate us with one another, because we’ve become this duo.
I like the idea of not being such a wlw stereotype of friends who fall but I’m seriously questioning if my feelings for her are more than platonic, and reciprocated. If I am blunt or make a move to then be rejected, that would crush me and change the dynamic between us and I cherish her so fucking much that I feel like her overall presence in my life is more important than my romantic/sexual desire; I feel like friendships are more important than romance anyway… But at the same time, I’d be so happy to pursue that connection with her.
We’re not only very close emotionally but we’re also super touchy feely yk? A lot of people assume we are more than friends because we’re always holding hands, caressing, cuddling etc. Sometimes it feels like we’re dating but just refraining from the physical aspect of it.
Many of my closest wlw friends ask me constantly why we’re not dating already, and that we “clearly like each other” so I know it’s not like a heterosexual pov of people being like “oh, you’re both gay so just be together”.
