FlexiSpot E7 Pro Two Week Review

Reviews

Hi all,

A couple of things upfront in the interest of transparency.

I purchased the E7 Pro frame and Bamboo top (55"x28") while it was on sale for $399.98 ($100 off), and also received 12% off via a discount code. There is an incentive for me to write this, and I probably wouldn't have posted otherwise. However, these are my genuine views, and at no point has the incentive been dependent on providing anything other than an honest reflection of the product.

Ordered 06/21, shipped 06/22, and delivered 06/24. NorCal delivery from SoCal origin. I've been using it for about two weeks with no issues.

I'm not new to FlexiSpot. The desk I use at work is an L-shaped single-motor model, so I had a reasonable baseline for comparison.

What I liked

  • FlexiSpot was responsive, with a reply within 24 hours
  • Shipping was fast
  • Came with accessories I didn't expect: magnetic cover, cable tray, grip tape, and cable clips. A nice surprise, though I think these should be highlighted during checkout
  • Installation was straightforward
  • The desk moves quickly, noticeably faster than the single-motor unit at work
  • The bamboo top feels better finished than the one at my workplace

What I didn't like

  • Black and Grey frame was priced $20 higher than white at time of purchase, so the color pricing seems inconsistent
  • No pre-drilled holes for the cable tray or control box
  • The frame wasn't delivered to my door, unlike the tabletop. Likely a FedEx issue, but might be worth noting
  • The bamboo top is 0.7" thick. I would've preferred 1", though I understand the cost tradeoff

Overall

I'd recommend the E7 Pro to anyone wanting a quality sit/stand desk without breaking the bank. For the price, the build quality, speed, and included accessories make it a solid choice in the mid-range market.
