21M, Delhi. Grinded for years to get a WFH career, but the loneliness is finally hitting me.
Hey guys, hope you’re all doing good.
I’m posting this because I’ve honestly hit a wall and just need some real advice. I’m a college dropout, and for the last few years, I’ve done nothing but grind. I poured everything I had into my work, spent days on end locked in my room, and just focused on building a stable work-from-home career.
I actually managed to pull it off and get to where I wanted to be professionally, but man, I never thought about the flip side of it. The truth is, I am incredibly lonely.
My entire life right now is just the four walls of my bedroom. Because of the WFH lifestyle, I barely go out, and my social circle is basically down to zero. I have exactly one close friend in real life, but he’s super busy with his own stuff, so we hardly ever see each other.
I'm just craving real, genuine human interaction. I want to build a social life, make connections, and finally break out of this bubble I've trapped myself in.
But since I’ve been out of the loop for so long, I honestly don’t even know where to start. How does a guy who is glued to a screen all day put himself out there in a city like Delhi? Where do people even go to meet people naturally anymore?
If anyone has been through this or has some genuine advice on how to handle the isolation and actually start socializing here, it would mean a lot. Thanks for reading.
