Cyberpunk Edgerunners still overrated.
Yes, because the second season of Cyberpunk Edgyrunner was announced, my opinion of the anime didn't change at all, and I don't think the second season will prove me wrong.
My problem with the anime is that the pacing, the story, and the character development felt less organic, rushed, or that other characters die too soon, as happened with Pilar.
Or perhaps the fans ruined my expectations of the anime, causing me to refuse to watch it.
You might wonder why? Obviously, because its fans try to sell it as the most depressing anime, or one that will traumatize you, or that will emotionally devastate you. And the result? I didn't find the anime that depressing or traumatic, nor did it emotionally devastate me. I couldn't even get attached to any of the characters; I didn't connect with them at all, not even David, Lucy, or Rebecca.
And now, because of those fans, the second season will become predictable and obvious. What a shame.
