Family issues

I (29F) am needing some advise, within the last year, i moved away from my home town and in with a couple of friends (1 male, 1 Female) since moving in the three of us have entered into a romantic relationship. The last time I tried something like this was with another female when I was in High school and my family absolutely freaked out, I was assaulted, verbally abused etc so I ended it and never said anything about it again. Now however I am so wholeheartedly happy with my significant others and I want to tell my family but am worried as to how they are going to react….any suggestions on how to approach this?
