Why are boomers the "hardest working generation" so devoted to implementing AI, a "Thing that makes things easier" into every single thing?

The baby boomer generation is often described as the hardest working generation but as soon as AI came along they drop to their knees and suck it's metaphorical dick like it's their new job. They are so hard on gen xers, millenials and gen z, always complaining that they're being lazy or taking the easy out, or cutting corners. But isn't that what AI technically does, in a shitty distopian way and moat of the time it's wrong but it does. Why are they so hell bent on implenting it into everything when they themselves are the ones that made book, movies and shows about being yourself, being creative, not letting the big man yell you what to do. But now they bend over backwards for it like their meaningless life that has 20 to 35 years left depends on it. And the generations they once called lazy and unproductive are the ones standing up agains AI
