Chrome sync Auto-Fill URLs

I work in IT at a college and have this customer that got a new computer. We logged him into chrome on the new computer and made sure to sync everything over. The bookmarks did sync, however the auto-filling URL feature is not working and the customer is extremely annoyed about it. I told him that he just needs to wait to allow the full sync to occur but he keeps experiencing the issue. Does anyone know how to resolve this?
