Issue trying to automatically back up saves.

I want to make sure all my saves for all my games are regularly backed up. I don't use other devices and don't want to deal with a host device so I don't use Syncthing. I've been using the Drive Sync app to back my saves up to Google Drive but all of the saves that are on my Retroid Pocket 6 storage constantly say they cant find the folder location. (I'm guessing it's something to do with Androids Scoped storage.

This is super annoying and was wondering if there is some sort of work around. I considered moving all my saves to my SD but again, a lot of emulators seem to not be able to do that yet again to scoped storage.

How can I back up my saves without running into this issue?
