Hi everyone. This is an update from this [Reddit post](https://www.reddit.com/r/MotionDesign/comments/1uifyeg/comment/ouhhk6z/?context=3). I want to thank everyone for helping me out! You're the best. I look over the materials and resources you guys gave me. So here's what I did. I am sorry if this explanation is vague and hard to understand, as I am trying to type this as I think.

I decided to redo the dog thanks to this [reference](https://animationapprentice.blogspot.com/2024/09/dog-run-animation-tutorial.html?m=1). So I decided to match the reference by editing the vectors by making copies of my vector illustrative dog. Make a new variation to match each instance of the reference, a still image. No puppet tool used, just a simple flipbook solution.

It's like drawing but with vectors, not sure how to explain it. Then I decided to add an effect like Vector Blur and mess with the position of it in AE to give a bit of speed effect in addition to the speed lines.

It's not perfect. I know it's a little wonky and a little choppy, but that's the solution I came up with on my own, which is now better than the previous post.

The problem I am having is with the idea of drawing and using rigs. Honestly, they sound great, and it's helpful. Don't get me wrong. But I try to open a program like Blender or Krita. I get lost and easily overwhelmed. I know that's not good to hear, so I am trying to go with what I know is safe for me to proceed to understand animation. It sounds lame, I know. I want to try to get to it one step at a time to understand it.

That said, is there anything I can do to improve on this?
