Why do Americans obsessively hate the British so much?

I've noticed on X, instagram, tiktok, bluesky, this website, the internet in general Americans hate the British to such an extreme.

The British things they hate the most are accents, people, tv, music, food culture and a few other things.

does it seem a bit strange they hate something that they don't know much about? what do you think?
