They're so smalls, humans and umas, always caring for others, dying over time until nothing in the world remains but dust and bones.

Only those above that layer of existence, those who are called gods and deities, can truly see that.

They go by many names: demons, angels, gods. Little few know who they truly are, not even themselves.

One of these beings called themself the Throdog Mgehye'lloig: the Great Madness.

They floated through the empty space between the gods' realm and the mortal realm, gazing inside for curiousity guided their actions.

The Great Madness didn't care much about the mortals. They all seemed below it.

That was when a certain crimson-eyed uma appeared to her.

The being heard the uma speak, and it found itself interested in it.

Something about the uma pulled her closer and closer, begging to see the uma more and more.

Days, weeks, maybe months passed and all the Great Madness yearned to see was the uma, so it made a choice.

It could've lived forever, all powerful, but it severed itself from the divine plane, cut itself loose and travelled the gap between worlds.

It needed to see the other uma closer, but as time went on, the being realized it grew weaker and weaker, its only source of nurrishment having been severed by itself.

The Great Madness, seeing great darkness already implanted in the uma's heart, decided to tie itself to the uma so that both may flourish, or die together.

Parasite.
