XG27AQWMG vs LG C5
The ASUS is at $626 and the LG C5 48 inch is at $762.
I like to play my games with path tracing when available and they run great at 1440p with dlss and frame generation using the RTX 4070 TI SUPER.
Some games simply don’t run at a playable performance with this GPU at 4k with path tracing, even with dlss performance and frame gen (Pragmata, Alan Wake 2).
Is it worth it to get the C5? Is it brighter than the ASUS in HDR? If so, I’m not sure if its worth it if I can’t play my games at these settings.
Some people say that with the game mode on the C5 the panel gets dimmer in HDR, is it still brighter than the ASUS then?
Also I’m worried about the dithering that some people say is visible.
My desk depth is ~70cm, but I’m fine with playing back a bit with a controller.
I had previously owned the XG27AQWMG and loved it but had to RMA it due to color uniformity issues, but due to the lack of stock, ASUS decided to refund me instead.
I don’t care about refresh rate at all.
