Are the remake or original better to start with?

Ive played resident evil revilations 1 and really liked it and then a few months after the new re came out, then Leon came on my for you page like one million times, and now i kinda wanna play the whole game series. I'm pretty sure there's a remake/remaster of like 0-6 but i don't know if i should play the originals or the remakes/remastered games. I feel like playing the original would be cooler but if those are barely playable or just bad I'd rather play the remakes.

(Also I don't mind it if the originals would be really hard to find I'm kinda good at finding these things)
