Insight in to a G7 role?
I'm currently a HEO within HMRC and have been looking into jumping go a G7 role possibly, but I'm more curious about what a typical G7 role involves.
At HEO I'm currently getting stuck into deliverable projects like actually doing tasks, making changes and delivering results which I enjoy doing, I fear that at G7 the role involves less hands on work and more decision making, delegating and endless meetings.
Am I imagining the scope of work correctly? Or as a G7 are there roles out there that are more hands on?
I'm not trying to downplay or make a dig and G7 work I know the discussions, management, decision making and everything is vastly important. I'm just more of a hands on worker and enjoy getting stuck in to fixing a problem myself.
